Testing that content lines up how it should across a variety of screen sizes and dimensions. ~
Hello! My name is Eddie and this is a website. The intent of this website is to both showcase my streaming content, viewable at https://twitch.tv/driht or on the Bigscreen, and some website design functionality and methodology that I’ve pieced together into a central hub for aforementioned content. Many of the links in the top menu will take you to other places you can occasionally find me (Socials for social media, Media for other content uploading locations, etc), as well as ways you can support me and what I do.
I stream casually, and with no (current) intention to do so full time. Streaming is a fun side project for me, and meeting new people and sharing in new experiences online is more than enough of a payback. I’ve met many people online that I would consider great friends, and I also met my wife through video games and streaming. I’m grateful for the connections we made that led us to finding each other, and I love her very much. We have three very energetic dogs that are our entire worlds (seen above).
Professionally, I’m a Tech Support Specialist with over ten years of experience wearing a wide variety of hats to support my employer. I’ve done Systems/Network/Security Administration tasks, Project Management and Deployment, Hardware and Software Maintenance/Support/Troubleshooting, and Testing, and some light Programming and Web Development as the need arises. As with many tech support positions, I do far more than just ‘tech support’.
This entire website was written in HTML via the Go Programming Language (https://go.dev/), with a WordPress blog added on to support news posts (like this one). Images and videos found here are content of my creation, and I would prefer if they are not redistributed without my express consent. The programming is largely open-source, and its sources can be found throughout the internet.
